Out of the dark into the light

they kept coming

Bottles fly

water splashes and  feet pound

Some wobbled their belly

while others ran by

Marathon runners

dressed for the part

Today’s Flora London Marathon 2009

Just two miles to go

That’s rubbish

but I’m only a learner

Reflecting on a very

expensive lump of metal

Though I’m small

I have it all

You are old and soft

but you can still make people look at you
