There are two main entrances into Tate Modern art gallery. To get the full impact of the building, enter through the west entrance directly into the turbine hall. The former power station now stands as a vast cultural cathedral. High in the east end of turbine hall can be seen two relics of this space that once hummed with electrical generators, two gantry cranes.

Great photo, and great lines for the eye to follow.
I am a firm believer in the power of Art. Boy, does that picture put an exclamation point on that phrase!!
When you stand in Tate Modern’s Turbine Hall, you can feel the vibration of power. Is it my imagination – but I can hear the ghostly hum of the generators that once occupied that space.
