I must admit I have an inner conflict over my reaction to people begging. On one hand “he/she looks healthy why don’t they work?” to “these poor people need help”.
A large percentage of the homeless on the streets of London, are ex-military. Probably coming from a broken home, put in care, then at 18 years old joined the army. Poorly educated they have been trained not to think but to follow orders. On leaving the army, they wait for someone to order them what to do.The Government disposes of our ex-military as they would an obsolete piece of equipment – thrown on the scrapheap.
I got caught like this some years ago, he then got up and went into the car park and got in a rolls and drove off.!!!???.
I admire your courage to show today’s society the way it is and I applaud you for it.
Thanks Saffan.
