    I really like the action in this shot. The red colors really stand out also.

      I enjoyed my encounter with him. From the little you can see of the background, you might see the area is landscaped with a small lake. The archer was brought up in the area and could point out the location where formerly stood: a steel works, tin-plate works, two docks, a railway engine shed, a morgue, a Nobel dynamite and shell factory (used during WW1)and rows of workers houses.
      The changing face of my home town is one of the reasons I took up photography to make a record of life at the start of the 21st century.

        Things certainly do change with time. I remember reading some in your earlier blogs about you recording life and it’s changes. What you describe of the scene is this photo is both exciting and sad. To see a beautiful lake and life as it is now, but to realize a life once lived and no longer there…
